(Alliance News) - Fiinu PLC on Monday said that its subsidiary, Fiinu Bank Ltd, has made a series of additions to its executive team as it prepares to commercialise its Plugin Overdraft product.
Charles Resnick will join the Surrey-based fintech group as chief financial officer. Resnick was previously head of financial conduct at ClearBank Ltd. Prior to that he was finance director at merchant bank Close Brothers PLC.
Fiinu also made new appointments in a range of other positions as it seeks to "attract talent from various industries". John Willcock has joined as chief product officer having most recently worked at William Hill International. Jason Moore was appointed as programme director for the mobilisation of Fiinu Bank while Darrin Scott Brent was made head of technology having previously been at Aspinall Financial Services Ltd.
The technology team is working on the Plugin Overdraft product which provides customers with access to an overdraft with Fiinu without needing to change their existing bank or current account. Fiinu aims to introduce "flexibility and competition to the tightly regulated overdraft market."

Shares in Fiinu were trading 1.1% lower at 14.10 pence each on Monday afternoon.
