(Alliance News) - Fidelity Special Values PLC on Monday said it appointed Claire Boyle and Alison McGregor as an independent non-executive directors.
In addition, the investment firm said, Boyle - who will join the board immediately - will replace Sharon Brown, the current Audit Committee chair, when she steps down from the board on December 12 after completing her nine year tenure.
Fidelity Special Values said Boyle has over 17 years' experience working in finance and equity investment management running portfolios over a wide range of sectors for international corporate, government, state and retail clients.
Meanwhile, McGregor was appointed with the effect from January 2020. She currently serves as non-executive director of Confederation of British Industries, Scottish Power Energy Networks Holdings and Beatson Cancer Charity. McGregor is also co-chair of the Scottish Apprenticeship advisory board.
Fidelity Special Values shares closed 0.6% lower on Monday at 259.50 pence each in London.
