(Alliance News) - Mining company Ferrexpo PLC on Monday said it appointed Vitalii Lisovenko as senior independent director with immediate effect.
Lisovenko, who joined Ferrexpo in November 2016, is both chair of the committee of independent directors and the independent review committee. He is also a member of the audit and remuneration committees.
"We are delighted that Vitalii has accepted the position as senior independent director. As well as bringing an in depth understanding of Ferrexpo's business, he has an independent, objective mind-set, with deep knowledge of financial markets and the Ukrainian business environment," said Chair Steve Lucas.
Ferrexpo shares were trading 1.9% higher in London on Monday morning at 215.01 pence each.
