(Alliance News) - London-based Ferrexpo PLC on Tuesday announced iron ore pellet production is up 5% in the second quarter of this year as well as being up 5% overall in the first half of this year.
The commodity trading and mining company also noted an increase of 5% in year to date production between 2019 and 2020.
The production of 62% iron ore pellets was down 54% to 215,000 tonnes in 2020 compared to the previous year whereas the production of 65% iron ore pellets was up 7% to 5.5 million tonnes.
All pellet production in 2019 and the first half of this year came from the company's own ore.
Ferrexpo shares were down 0.5% at 170.50 pence on Tuesday morning in London.
