LONDON (Alliance News) - Feedback PLC on Monday said it has secured the first sale of its TexRAD texture analysis software in the South Korean marekt.
The TexRAD software was acquired by the Nuclear Medicine department of Seoul National University Bundang Hospital as part of its installation of a Siemens PET-CT scanner. The software will be used in research studies in cancer and other diseases by the hospital.
No financial details on the sale were disclosed.
"We are delighted to receive this order - a first on several fronts: Firstly, working with a leading original equipment manufacturer on this sale, bundling TexRAD research software with the OEM offering and lastly but not least, entry into the Korean market - particularly the prestigious Seoul National University Bundang Hospital who are keen to undertake further exciting research in cancer imaging," said Balaji Ganeshan, chief scientist and new business officer for the TexRAD and Cambridge Computed Imaging Ltd subsidiaries of Feedback.
