(Alliance News) - Medical technology firm Feedback PLC on Thursday said it was in talks with the UK's National Health Service after its Bleepa product was well received at a healthcare exhibition in September.
Bleepa, a medical communications application accessible on smartphones, was showcased at last month's NHS Expo, the Cambridge-based firm said.
The company explained it is now in advanced discussions with NHS pilot sites for the product, and added it is now seeking commercial both inside and outside the state-owned health service.
Chief Executive Tom Oakley said: "We are very encouraged by the response to Bleepa having discussed this with senior NHS executives and clinicians at NHS Expo. The feedback that we have received is that Bleepa clearly has applications across the healthcare sector, not only in individual hospital settings but also in community and cross site clinical settings."
Looking ahead, Feedback hopes to commence Bleepa pilot schemes in the near future.
The firm also hopes to conclude a strategic review of its medical imaging software TexRAD before the end of 2019.
Feedback's stock was trading 11% higher at 1.33 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
