28th Apr 2016 08:01

LONDON (Alliance News) - IT services company FDM Group (Holdings) PLC on Thursday said it performed well in the first quarter of 2016 and affirmed its expectations for the year.

In a statement to be given at FDM's annual meeting on Thursday, Chairman Ivan Martin said the number of mounties, FDM's permanent IT consultants placed on client sites, deployed was 2,241 at March 28, up 563 from the end of 2015.

Total revenue in the first three months of the year grew 14% year-on-year, the company said, as it continues to cut non-mountie jobs.

FDM shares were up 0.5% to 557.75 pence.
