FDM Group Non-Executive David Lister To Become New Chair

7th Feb 2019 08:17

LONDON (Alliance News) - IT services firm FDM Group PLC on Thursday said current Non-Executive Director David Lister is to step up to the role of chair.

Lister will replace Ivan Martin as non-executive chair of the company on March 5.

Martin has served in the position since October 2006, with FDM announcing his departure in March last year.

Lister, FDM continued, brings "a wealth" of relevant board experiences. He has worked with firms such as National Grid PLC, Diageo PLC, GlaxoSmithKline PLC, Reuters, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Chief Executive Rod Flavell said: "Ivan Martin has steered FDM Group through its first years as a plc, a period which has seen significant change and strong performance, including the company's promotion into the FTSE 250 in June 2017.

"I thank Ivan personally and on behalf of the board for his wisdom, commitment and leadership during his 12 years on the board. We wish him all the best for the future. David Lister has already made a significant contribution to the work of the board as a non-executive director and I look forward to working with him more closely as we continue to create and inspire exciting careers that shape our digital future."

Shares were down 0.5% early Thursday morning at 796.00 pence each.
