(Alliance News) - FDM Group Holdings PLC said Wednesday it has appointed Alan Kinnear as an independent non-executive director with effect on January 1.
In addition, Non-Executive Director Robin Taylor will step down from his role at the professional services provider's annual general meeting which will be held on April 29, 2020, after six years in the role since 2014.
Kinnear's most recent role was as partner at accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers for 23 years, from 1992 to 2015.
"We are delighted to welcome Alan onto the FDM board. He brings significant skills in financial reporting, regulation, corporate governance and risk management and already has a degree of familiarity with the FDM business. I am pleased that the overlap between Alan's appointment to the board and Robin's retirement will allow for a thorough handover process for the Audit Committee chair role," said Non-Executive Chair David Lister.
Shares in FDM Group - which is headquartered in London - were down 0.6% at 1,020.00 pence on Thursday.
