FDM Confident On Full Year As Mounties Boost Third Quarter

23rd Oct 2014 08:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - FDM Group (Holdings) PLC on Thursday said it has traded well in the second half so far, with revenue in the third quarter rising on the back of a strong performance for its Mountie IT consultant team.

The IT services company said total group revenue for the three months to September 30 was up 18.4% year-on-year, with Mountie revenue rising 20.1%. Mountie is the name the company gives to its IT consultants.

The company said the solid performance in the third quarter meant it was confident of meeting expectations for the year.

"I am delighted that 2014 continues to see FDM deliver strong operational and financial performances," said FDM Chief Executive Officer Rod Flavell.

"Client demand continues to be strong in all of our operational locations and I remain confident that the Group is well placed to continue to make good progress," he added.

FDM shares were up 0.4% to 325.88 pence on Thursday.
