LONDON (Alliance News) - Fastjet PLC on Monday said it has signed a digital distribution deal with Qunar.com, the Chinese travel website.
Under the terms of the deal, on which Africa-focused low-cost carrier fastjet did not provide any financial details, flights it offers will be available to view on Qunar.com.
"This is an extremely exciting venture, with passenger traffic from Asia and particularly China realising significant year-on-year growth. We already have agreements with a number of travel agents specialising in ticket sales to the Chinese market, but this represents a firm step to increase numbers and direct sales," said fastjet Head of Commercial Ellis Cain-Jones.
Fastjet shares were down 1% on Monday to 0.99 pence.
