LONDON (Alliance News) - African low-cost carrier Fastjet PLC on Wednesday posted a big rise in passenger numbers for April year-on-year, along with an improvement in its load factor.
The company said it carried 68,088 passengers in April, up 90% from 35,770 passengers a year earlier. Its rolling passenger total for the year to April was 694,227, up 78% year-on-year from 389,164.
"April was yet another record-breaking month for fastjet and continues our recent trend of reporting significant year-on-year growth in passenger numbers.
