LONDON (Alliance News) - Fastjet PLC said Thursday that it was in discussions with the Zambian government about establishing an operation in Lusaka.
The company said it expects the new operation would be a Zambian-registered company, in which it would have a substantial stake.
The airline said it will progress its application for an Air Services License and Air Operator Certificate as quickly as possible, but warned it could take up to six months.
Shares in Fastjet were trading up 0.2% at 2.93 pence Thursday afternoon.
