LONDON (Alliance News) - Low-cost African airline fastjet PLC said Tuesday that Angus Saunders is stepping down as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of the board for personal reasons.
Nick Caine, currently chief financial officer of Fiji Airways, has been selected as Saunders' successor; he will begin as CFO and a director of fastjet August 11, 2014. The company said the two will work together for the next two months to ensure a smooth transition.
Caine has served as CFO at Fihi Airways since 2010.
Shares in fastjet were trading 1.59% higher at 1.6 pence per share Tuesday morning.
