LONDON (Alliance News) - FastForward Innovations Ltd on Thursday said it has appointed Lance De Jersey as finance director & chief operating officer with immediate effect to replace Ian Burns, who intends to retire as CFO & COO.
The investment company said Burns will continue as a non-executive director.
FastForward said De Jersey spent 7 years at Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group, culminating in his role as head of Partners Group's Guernsey office.
Prior to that, De Jersey owned and operated retail franchises, marketed and sold small businesses as a business broker, and worked as a financial adviser in New Zealand.
"Ian Burns had indicated a wish to step away from an executive role with the company to allow him to focus on his other projects, but I am pleased that we will still have access to his knowledge and experience as a non-executive director," said Chairman Jim Mellon.
"At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Lance to the board of FastForward where we feel his background in working in the regulated funds industry in Guernsey will be of considerable benefit to FastForward Innovations," added Mellon.
FastForward shares were trading flat on Thursday at 10.00 pence each.
