LONDON (Alliance News) - Faroe Petroleum said Monday that on the advice of operator Statoil it would delay the start-ups of its Njord and Hyme fields originally scheduled for September 15 to the latter half of the month.
Faroe said in a statement that this delay was to allow Statoil to complete inspections to quality assure a new analysis model being used to access the structural integrity of the Njord facility. This delay would not impact the company's production guidance, it said.
The oil and gas company's shares were trading down 0.50 pence at 129.25 pence Monday afternoon.
