Falkland Oil & Gas Not Aware Of Any Reason For Share Price Jump

11th Sep 2015 15:11

LONDON (Alliance News) - Falkland Oil & Gas Ltd said Friday it is not aware of any reason for a jump in its share price.

Shares in the company were up 17% to 24.85 pence Friday afternoon, having risen as high as 32.35 pence earlier in the day. The stock's 52-week range is 16.75p to 45.00p.

The company noted that drilling continues at its Humpback exploration well on its acreage to the south and east of the Falkland Islands. As it has previously announced, it expects results of the well to be available in September and said it will provide a further update once target depth has been reached and wireline logs have been run.
