Falanx Wins Slew Of Cyber Security And Corporate Intelligence Deals

24th Sep 2015 07:12

LONDON (Alliance News) - Falanx Group Ltd shares were trading higher early Thursday after the company announced a slew of new contract wins for its cyber security and corporate intelligence businesses.

The security and risk management consultancy said its cyber arm has entered into deal with three financial services companies, which it did not name, to become their preferred cyber security provider. One of the bank is an international trading house, while the others are boutique advisory firms, it said.

In addition, the company said its corporate intelligence unit has secured five new contracts, with a trade, shipping and energy group, an oil and gas producer, a financial services company and two communications and IT firms. It did not name any of the clients and did not provide any financial details on any of the contracts it has secured.

It did add, however, that the intelligence business has worked on a number of special projects this year, amounting to around GBP350,000 in value.

Falanx shares were up 17% on the news to 9.9374 pence, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share in early trade.
