LONDON (Alliance News) - Falanx Group Ltd said Monday that it has won a new contract with an undisclosed UK government department that will generate GBP312,000 in revenue over the next four years.
The security and cyber defence provider said that under the contract it will, in partnership with cloud computing services company MDS Technologies Ltd, provide the department with high assurance systems as well as associated processes for alerting and ticketing.
GBP135,000 in revenue will be payable over the first six months, Falanx said.
"We continue to demonstrate our status as a provider of choice to government organisations of highly scalable monitoring systems, on long term contracts. We are confidently pursuing negotiations to deliver our capability across other sensitive areas of government and commercial organisations, which could develop into significantly higher value contracts," said Chief Executive Officer John Blamire in a statement.
Shares in Falanx were up 2.2% at 8.69 pence Monday morning.
