LONDON (Alliance News) - Cyber security and intelligence provider Falanx Group Ltd said Tuesday its subsidiary, SecureStorm Ltd, has renewed its contract with a "long-term UK government customer".
The critical managed cyber security services contract with the UK government is for GBP600,000 spread across the next two years with potential extension and introduction of other Falanx services.
SecureStorm is a National Cyber Security Centre certified cyber security consultancy.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mike Read said: "The timely acquisition of SecureStorm provides Falanx with greater access to the UK government market. This contract renewal is a further sign of confidence by UK government in Falanx, being both the new home of SecureStorm and provider of an already highly trusted monitoring solution across government departments. We look forward to announcing further expansion of our UK government business in the coming months."
Shares in Falanx were up 0.8% Tuesday at 4.31 pence each.
