Dick Morrell has been appointed chief technology officer, and will be responsible for technology in the business, with particular focus on the Cyber Security division. Morrell has been part of Falanx since September 2017, when his cyber security firm AuditSec Services Ltd was acquired by the group.
In addition, Rick Flood has been appointed chief marketing officer, and will be in charge of all sales and marketing operations in the group. He has been a part of Falanx for eight months as marketing and sales director, and prior to that was interim marketing and sales director for US cloud service distribution company intY Ltd for six months from November 2016 to April 2017.
Finally, Executive Director Jay Abbot will leave after one year and eight months at Falanx since 2016, to pursue other business interests.
"I would like to thank Jay for his dedication to the business while at Falanx and wish him all the best in the future. I am delighted to formally welcome Dick and Rick in these management positions, whose key roles are to focus on delivering further large monitoring services contracts," said Chief Executive Officer Mike Read.
"Since I became CEO in November 2017, we have implemented these management changes as well as the appointment of Ian Selby as CFO and John Blamire taking on the role of COO. This strong team have the skills and structure to capitalise on this very significant market opportunity," Read added.
