LONDON (Alliance News) - FairFX Group PLC said it won an award for 'Most Trusted Prepaid Card Provider' at a ceremony hosted by personal finance advisory firm Moneywise on Thursday.
The currency card and foreign exchange provider said it was selected over competitors in the prepaid card space including foreign exchange company Travelex Group, travel company Thomas Cook Group PLC and postal services company Post Office Ltd.
FairFX said it has seen "significant traction" with its prepaid retail and corporate card offerings in recent months following strategic developments in technology, customer service and marketing. It added that its card offerings have also been bolstered by the launch of the new FairFX mobile app.
"It's incredibly gratifying to win this "most trusted" award, especially as it is voted for by customers. FairFX strives to provide the best customer experience it can by understanding people's needs and providing the fairest rates on money exchange. We look forward to building on this success and continuing to deliver a superior offering for all our customers," Chief Executive Ian Strafford-Taylor said in a statement.
Shares in FairFX were trading down 1.9% at 31.40 pence on Friday morning.
