(Alliance News) - Experian PLC said Wednesday it has acquired Australian bank statement analyser Look Who's Charging Pty Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Experian said Look Who's Charging is a bank transaction and categorisation technology firm.
The FTSE 100-listed credit services firm said the acquisition represents further growth in its data and analytics business. Looks Who's Charging will sit in Experian's Europe, Middle East & Africa/Asia Pacific Business-to-Business division, in the Data unit.
"LWC's service is used to make banking smoother and more straightforward for bank customers," Experian said.
The company continued: "LWC's data is integrated directly into a bank's digital platforms providing their customers with more visibility on their spending. It enables card and bank statement transactions to be categorised and displayed in an easy to understand way, in real time, and makes everyday activities like spend analysis simpler."
Shares in Experian were 1.2% higher in London in early trade on Wednesday at 2,535.00 pence each.
