LONDON (Alliance News) - Testing, calibration and advisory services provider Exova Group PLC on Monday said it has acquired North Wales-based Jones Environmental Forensics Ltd for an undisclosed amount.
Jones, founded in 2007, provides environmental analysis services and complex forensic analysis services for contaminated land and water.
The company made GBP8.0 million in revenue in 2015 and has 150 specialists on its staff, Exova said.
"Acquiring Jones complements our existing operations by enhancing Exova's technical expertise in environmental services and offers a great foundation for further growth in the UK and internationally," said Ian El-Mokadem, Exova's chief executive.
"This addition to our portfolio exemplifies our strategy of providing more technically demanding services, growing our capabilities and increasing market share through carefully considered strategic acquisitions," he added.
