LONDON (Alliance News) - Exova Group PLC on Monday said it has won three contracts to handle materials testing and fire safety engineering for the Doha Metro public transport project in Qatar.
The deals are worth a combined GBP3.7 million to the testing and calibration company and range up to three years in duration, it said.
Under the deals, it will handle on-site materials testing, soil and chemical analysis and will condduct design validation, fire strategy and modelling services via its Exova Warringtonfire subsidiary.

As one of the leading global experts in testing and fire consultancy, we are able to apply knowledge and experience gained from our work on mass transit infrastructure across the Middle East, including the Dubai Metro and Saudi Arabia's Haramain High Speed Railway," said Exova's Hicham Abdallah, its managing director for the Middle East, Asia and Asia Pacific regions.
