Exillon Production From Russia Rises For First Time In Three Months

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC Monday said production from its two Russian assets rose in February after two consecutive months of production falling.

The company achieved an average production rate of 17,459 barrels of oil per day in February. In January, it produced 16,945 barrels of oil per day, which had been down from 17,558 barrels of oil per day in December.

Production had steadily increased month on month between August and November in 2014, before falling for two consecutive months in December and January.

Average daily production from Timan-Pechora averaged 3,409 barrels of oil per day, which is down from 3,536 barrels per day in January, offset by production from West Siberia increasing to 14,050 barrels per day from 13,409 barrels per day in January.

Combined peak daily production totalled 18,088 barrels per day in February, which is down from 18,394 barrels per day in January.

Exillon shares were untraded on Monday, last quoted at 132.00 pence per share.
