Exillon Energy's Production Levels Down In May After April Recovery

20th Jun 2014 10:20

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC Friday said production levels fell in May, after having recovered in April after oil pipeline repair works and maintenance works had held back production during March.

The oil producer with assets in Russia said its average daily production in May was 17,847 barrels per day, lower than the 18,211 barrels per day in April.

Exillon said its peak production rate during May was 18,263 barrels per day, down on the April rate of 18,706 barrels and the March rate of 18,352 barrels.

Production during March was hit by oil pipeline repair works undertaken by Transneft OAO and the temporary suspension of operations by certain oil refineries.

Exillon Energy shares were trading 0.4% higher Friday morning at 141.24 pence.
