LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC Wednesday said production from its two oilfields in Russia has fallen for its fourth consecutive month in February.
Exillon produced an average of 14,660 barrels a day in February, down from 15,094 barrels in January, 15,298 barrels in December and 15,461 barrels in November, which was the last month to report a rise in production.
Exillon said production from the Timan-Pechora field in February averaged 3,040 barrels a day, down from 3,161 barrels in January whilst average daily production from the West Siberia field fell to 11,620 barrels from 11,933 barrels the month before.
Peak daily production in February, which is the company's estimate of the day on which total production reached its highest level, reached 14,970 barrels of oil per day, down from 15,588 barrels in January, 15,777 barrels in December and 15,928 barrels in November.
Exillon shares were down 3.6% to 77.13 pence per share on Wednesday morning.
