Exillon Energy Production Rates Pick Up In August

LONDON (Alliance News) - Exillon Energy PLC Wednesday said its average daily production and peak daily production rates both picked up in August, following production rate declines in July, June and May.

The oil producer with assets in Russia said its average daily production in the period 16,927 barrels per day, up from 16,678 barrels in July, and falls in both June and May.

Daily production at the Timan-Pechora site was 3,678 barrels per day, with 13,249 barrels at its West Siberia operation. This compares with July's figures of 3,752 barrels per day at the Timan-Pechora site, and 12,926 barrels at its West Siberia operation.

Exillon said its peak daily production was 17,466 barrels per day in August, up from 17,440 barrels in July, 17,889 barrels in June and 18,263 barrels in May.

The company did not comment on the reasons for its production increases.

Exillon saw its shares rise 0.2% Wednesday morning, trading at 162.25 pence.
