EXECUTIVE CHANGES: STV names Mothercare's Clive Whiley as next chair

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of directorate changes announced by London-listed companies this week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Frontier IP Group PLC - London-based intellectual property commercialisation firm - Chief Commercialisation Officer Matthew White is leaving the company to become chief executive officer of "a Cambridge based early-stage medical devices company". He intends to remain in his post until his six-month notice period ends on March 24. Frontier IP is in discussions about White's successor. "[White's] departure is wholly amicable," comments Frontier CEO Neil Crabb. "In the seven years he has been our chief commercialisation officer, he has played an invaluable role in the progress made by Frontier IP and our portfolio companies."

STV Group PLC - Glasgow-based media company - Chair Paul Reynolds intends to step down "by the end of 2025". STV names Clive Whiley, currently non-executive chair of Mothercare PLC, as Reynolds' successor. He will join the board on October 1 to serve as non-executive director & chair elect until Reynolds leaves the company. STV notes that Whiley has previously served as non-executive chair of De La Rue PLC and chair of Dignity PLC. He is also senior independent director at Griffin Mining Ltd, and has become a non-executive director of Mpac Group PLC effective from October 1. Reynolds joined STV's board in February, 2021, and became chair in April of that year. Separately, STV says Whiley buys 100,000 STV shares via a pension scheme at GBP1.19 per share, worth GBP119,000, on Thursday.

Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group PLC - AI-focused data and marketing services company - Appoints Halfspace Ltd Co-Founder Rory Maxwell as CEO, following Pri0r1ty's acquisition of London-based sports data and marketing business Halfspace in July. He succeeds James Sheehan, who has stepped down as CEO. Maxwell was appointed as an executive director on July 3. Pri0r1ty also intends to appoint Daniel Gee, one of its co-founders and as chief technology officer.

Severfield PLC - Thirsk, England-based maker of structural steel in the UK and India - Hires Jan Bramall as interim chief financial officer, starting November 1. Company announced on September 11 that current CFO Adam Semple will step down at the end of October. Bramall will stay on as interim CFO until a permanent successor to Semple is appointed. Severfield "has initiated a comprehensive search and is actively recruiting". Notes that Bramall has been CFO of Manchester Airports Group since 2018, and has previously been CFO at various "global industrial companies". "Jan's extensive experience with multiple international businesses will provide significant support and strong financial leadership during this transitional period," says Non-Executive Chair Charlie Cornish.

MOH Nippon PLC - crowdfunding services provider for real estate investment in Japan - Non-Executive Chair Chiaki Takahashi resigns immediately, to "pursue other business interests". The company promotes Kazuo Ichimura to chair from non-executive director.
