EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Oxford Nanopore Tech hires new CEO from Danaher

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Friday and Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Oxford Nanopore Technologies PLC - Oxford, England-based molecular sensing technology based on nanopores, used to understand diseases such as cancer - Hires Francis Van Parys to be chief executive officer, joining on March 2 next year. Van Parys currently is CEO of Radiometer, which provides acute care diagnostics and is part of the US's Danaher Corp. He previously worked at GE Healthcare Technologies Inc. At Oxford Nanopore, Van Parys will replace Gordon Sanghera, who has been CEO since the company's formation in 2005.

Treatt PLC - Bury St Edmunds, England-based maker of natural extracts and ingredients for the beverage, flavour and fragrance industries - Manprit Randhawa, who joined Treatt in September as interim chief financial officer, is made interim managing director to lead the company until a replacement is found for CEO David Shannon, who is leaving on December 31. Prior to Treatt, Randhawa was CFO of SkinBioTherapeutics PLC. Finance Director Kelly Gordon will report to Randhawa and oversee the company's full-year results release on January 20. Treatt will hold its annual general meeting on March 26, and Vijay Thakrar remains board chair.

Caffyns PLC - Eastbourne, Sussex-based car dealership chain - Hires Joelle Timperley to be CFO and board member, starting January 5. Timperley most recently was CFO of Hynamics UK, part of French state-owned electricity supplier EDF Group. At Caffyns, she replaces Michael Warren, who retires after 10 years in post.

Portmeirion Group PLC - Stoke-on-Trent, England-based owner of homewares brands including Spode, Portmeirion, Royal Worcester, and Wax Lyrical - Hires Michael Scheepers as to be brand & commercial director, joining from cookware brand Le Creuset, where he was commercial director and regional CEO for Europe, Middle East and Africa. At Portmeirion, Scheepers will report to CEO Mike Raybould. Portmeirion notes that the hire follows the promotion of Sam Pearce to chief operating officer and the hiring of Victoria Brabender as product strategy director, a new position. Brabender previously worked at retailer Marks & Spencer Group PLC, as well as at brands Monsoon Accessorize and La Senza.

Tungsten West PLC - developing Hemerdon tungsten and tin mine in Devon, England - Confirms Interim CFO Phil Povey as permanent CFO and board member, as of Friday. Povey had become interim CFO in September. He previously worked a mining services provider Capital Ltd.

Time To Act PLC - Stockton-On-Tees, England-based technology for energy transition supply chain - Chris Heminway moves to CEO & chief strategy officer from executive chair, starting Monday. Non-Executive Director Jeremy Earnshaw steps up to non-executive chair.
