EXECUTIVE CHANGES: New chairs for Kenmare Resources and East Imperial

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Kenmare Resources PLC - lithium and zircon producer in Mozambique - Hires Andrew Webb as non-executive director and chair designate, joining the board immediately and replacing Steven McTiernan as chair at the 2022 annual general meeting. Webb was a managing director in the Global Advisory team of Rothschild & Co. McTiernan has been chair of Kenmare since 2014.

East Imperial PLC - London-based premium mixers maker - Appoints Alistair McGeorge as non-executive chair and Colin Henry as non-executive director, effective immediately, while Rob Soni resigns as chair and director. The changes to the board were demanded by 21% shareholder Taylor Partners Ltd, and following the changes Taylor has withdrawn its requisition for a general meeting. Taylor also had wanted Olufunke Abimbola removed as a non-executive director, but she will remain. Both McGeorge and Henry worked at retailers New Look and Matalan. McGeorge also was at Littlewoods, and Henry at Marks & Spencer Group PLC and Polo Ralph Lauren Inc.

Mears Group PLC - Brockworth, England-based housing and social care provider - Hires Angela Lockwood as non-executive director, starting January 1. Lockwood is chief executive officer of North Star Housing, a housing association in the north east of England.

Auction Technology Group PLC - London-based online auction operator - Hires Pauline Reader as independent non-executive director, starting Thursday. Reader is senior vice president of Marketing for Stitch Fix, a personalised online shopping service.

AFC Energy PLC - Cranleigh, England-based hydrogen power generation technologies - Hires Monika Biddulph as non-executive director, effective immediately. Biddulph was a senior executive at semiconductor firm Arm Holdings PLC. She currently is a non-executive director of London listings Ilika PLC and D4T4 Solutions PLC.

Goldplat PLC - gold recovery operations in South Africa and Ghana - Nigel Wyatt will step down as non-executive director as Goldplat's AGM on December 31, having served for eight years.

National Express Group PLC - Birmingham-based public transport operator - Ashley Steel stands down as independent non-executive director on Friday, having served for six years.
