Ceres Power Holdings PLC - Horsham, West Sussex-based solid oxide fuel cell developer - Appoints Julia King as non-executive director with effect on Thursday. Most recent executive role was as Chancellor and Chief Executive of Birmingham-based Aston University from 2006 to 2016.

XLMedia PLC - London-based marketing company - Appoints Julie Market as non-executive director with immediate effect. Most recent executive role was as Group people Director for FTSE 100 online grocer Ocado Group PLC from 2010 to 2019.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC - makes strategic investments in companies it thinks will outperform - Appoints Qu Li as non-executive director with immediate effect. Is also a non-executive director at IQ-AI Ltd.

Baillie Gifford China Growth Trust PLC - investment company - Appoints Tim Clissold as non-executive director with effect on October 1. Is currently chief resolution officer at Peony Advisors Ltd, a company which helps foreign investors recover value after being disenfranchised by Chinese companies.
