EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Games Workshop adds former Lego executive to board

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes, announced on Monday and late last week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Games Workshop Group PLC - Nottingham, England-based manufacturer and retailer of miniature wargames - Hires Eric Maugein to be a non-executive director, starting immediately. Maugein was most recently regional president at Lego Group Asia Pacific, having spent 20 years at the Danish toy maker. "Eric has considerable experience in building and leading successful strategies for new markets in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, defining and implementing expansions in markets such as China and India," Games Workshop says.

Auction Technology Group PLC - London-based operator of marketplaces and auction services for curated online auctions - Hires Sejal Amin as an independent non-executive director, starting on Monday. Amin is chief technology officer of Priceline, part of Booking Holdings Inc. Previously, he was CTO of Thomson Reuters Group and of Shutterstock.

ACG Metals Ltd - operates the Gediktepe mine in Turkey, which produces gold and silver and is expected to produce copper and zinc - Michael Pompeo joins the board as a non-executive director. Pompeo was US secretary of state from 2018 to 2021 and director of the US Central Intelligence Agency from 2017 to 2018. He is currently executive chair of Impact Investment LLC. Under a partnership agreement, Impact Investment will advise ACG "as it pursues its ambitious plan to become a leading global copper company serving US and Western industrial supply chains". Pompeo says: "ACG has made great progress so far, acquiring the Gediktepe mine in Turkey and is well positioned to capitalise on strong current and future demand for copper globally."

TPXimpact Holdings PLC - London-based services firm focused on "people-powered digital transformation" - Noel Douglas joins as chief financial officer and company secretary on Monday. Richard Griffiths, who has been acting as interim CFO since January 1, goes back to finance director. The appointment of Douglas was announced back in November, though at the time TPXimpact said only that he would start on or before April 1. Douglas replaces Steve Winters, who retired on December 31. He joins from AND Digital, a technology consultancy where he was CFO.

Fulcrum Metals PLC - recovery of precious metals from mine tailings in Canada using environmentally friendly leaching technology - Non-Executive Director Mitchell Smith becomes chair, while Interim Chair Alan Mooney reverts to non-executive director, both immediately. Fulcrum says Smith, who is based in Canada, has the skills and regional expertise to support Fulcrum's tailings projects there.

Henderson European Trust PLC - invests for long-term growth in Europe's "global champions" - Co-portfolio managers Tom O'Hara and Jamie Ross resign from manager Janus Henderson Investors and are replaced from Monday by Robert Schramm-Fuchs and Nick Sheridan. They have worked for Janus Henderson since 2014 and 2019, respectively. The trust also says it will solicit shareholder views on the strategic direction of the company and will "review the company's position in light of the feedback received".
