EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Chesnara appoints Murray as CEO, replaces Deane

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Great Portland Estates PLC - London-focused property developer and investor - Hires Dan Nicholson as an executive director with effect from September 6. Nicholson most recently spent over 10 years with Tishman Speyer, for the majority of which he ran its UK business. Separately, appoints Mark Anderson as a non-executive director from September 1. Anderson is currently Property and International managing director of Whitbread PLC and and leads its international businesses and the mergers and acquisitions activities for the group.

Chesnara PLC - Preston, England-based pensions and insurance firm - CEO John Deane will retire by the end of the year, after six years in charge. Steve Murray is selected to replace Deane. Murray is appointed as an executive director of Chesnara and Countrywide Assured PLC. Upon securing regulatory approval, he will become Chesnara's chief executive. Murray was previously chief commercial officer for Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Ltd.

Oxford Instruments PLC - Abingdon, England-headquartered firm that makes products, systems and tools for scientific research and industry - Appoints Nigel Sheinwald as an non-executive director. Sheinwald was a British diplomat, serving as British Ambassador to the USA, Foreign Policy and Defence Adviser to the Prime Minister and as British Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the European Union in Brussels. He is currently a non-executive director of Invesco Ltd and a senior adviser to both Tanium, a cyber security company, and to the Universal Music Group.

Domino's Pizza Group PLC - Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire-based pizza delivery master franchiser - Non-Executive Director Kevin Higgins to step down from role on September 8. Higgins has been on the board since 2014. Stella David will become chair of the Remuneration Committee when he leaves his role.
