Chapel Down Group PLC - Tenterden, Kent-based wine maker - Hires Robert Smith as chief financial officer and board director. Smith will join on September 1 from accountants PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he leads the UK & EMEA Finance Transformation practice. Notes that Smith is a long-term shareholder of Chapel Down. He replaces CFO & Chief Operating Officer Richard Woodhouse, who will remain through the summer. Chapel Down will announce 2021 results on April 25. Says trading was strong in the fourth quarter and in line with expectations.

Powerhouse Energy Group PLC - Bingley, England-based hydrogen production from waste plastic - Promotes Non-Executive Director Russell Ward to chair, replacing James Greenstreet, who will step down as chair from Tuesday but remain a non-executive director until the end of June. Ward had joined the board at the beginning of February.

Sirius Real Estate Ltd - operator of business parks, offices and industrial complexes in Germany - Sirius Chief Executive Officer Andrew Coombs takes over as interim CEO of subsidiary BizSpace from Tuesday, as John Spencer steps down. Sirius bought BizSpace, a provider of regional flexible workspace in the UK, back in November.

Weir Group PLC - Glasgow-based mining, infrastructure and oil & gas engineering - Jim McDonald will succeed Chair-Designate Barbara Jeremiah as senior independent director at the April 28 annual general meeting.

Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd - Guernsey-based renewable energy investor - Promotes John Whittle to senior independent director, replacing Shelagh Mason from Tuesday. Mason has been on the board since the company's initial public offering in 2013. Whittle joined the board in July of last year.
