(Alliance News) - EVR Holdings PLC on Wednesday said in intends to extend its partnership with Good Morning America and ABC to broadcast a event music live from Nashville, the capital of the US state of Tennessee.
The AIM-listed creator of virtual reality entertainment content said a global audience will be able to experience America's morning show in 360-degree virtual reality on their smartphones via the MelodyVR app.
EVR said, by selecting different jump spots - a function that is "unique" to the MelodyVR platform - viewers can choose their location within the saloon, getting them close to their music "heroes".
MelodyVR will also give users a rare glimpse of their favourite country stars behind the scenes, EVR noted.
"It's great to be right at the heart of the action during the biggest day in the country music calendar, and it's a privilege to allow fans around the world to feel as though they're right here in Nashville, as award excitement builds," said MelodyVR Chief Executive Anthony Matchett.
EVR shares were trading flat in London on Wednesday at 5.15 pence each.
