LONDON (Alliance News) - Evgen Pharma PLC said Thursday it raised GBP750,000 via share placing.
The company issued 5.6 million shares at 13.5p. Shares in the drug development company were trading 4.9% lower at 14.50 pence each.
Evgen said it will use the proceeds from the placing to fund working capital needs in the months following read-outs from its two on-going phase II trials in subarachnoid haemorrhage and metastatic breast cancer.
The company expects the new shares to start trading on AIM market on October 22, after which it will have 98.9 million shares in issue.
