European Metals Continued Cinovec Drill Programme In First Quarter

29th Apr 2016 10:31

LONDON (Alliance News) - European Metals Holdings Ltd Friday said it continued its drill programme at the Cinovec lithium/tin project in the Czech republic during the first quarter of 2016.

The company said its current drill program has been planned to facilitate the conversion of resources from the inferred to indicated category and provide material for metallurgical testing.

Thus far, results have served to confirm the robustness and consistency of the Cinovec ore body, it said. Five diamond core holes have been completed, with overall results exceeding its expectations in terms of grade and width of mineralised intercepts.

It continues its drilling programme with its last planned drillhole for the Cinovec-South deposit, and will then focus on the shallower, higher grade lithium areas of the central part of the deposit.

Shares in European Metals were up 5.0% at 13.65 pence Friday morning.
