26th Sep 2016 17:02

VIENNA (Alliance News) - The European markets ended the first session of the new trading week solidly in negative territory. A wide range of concerns weighed on investor sentiment Monday. Investors were in a cautious mood ahead of the first US presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton later today. Energy stocks weakened ahead of the upcoming OPEC meeting in Algiers, while banks and financial stocks were under pressure due to concerns over Deutsche Bank.
