LONDON (Alliance News) - Europa Oil & Gas Thursday said it has renewed its permit at the Bearn des Gaves site, offshore France.
The Europe-focused exploratory oil and gas company said that it has renewed the permit for five years at the 100% owned site, including the Berenx Deep, a large gas appraisal prospect and the Berenx Shallow Prospect, a recently identified site.
The site is 20 kilometres southeast of the Lacq gas field, which produces 9 trillion cubic feet of gas.
Europa also said that it has upgraded its resource estimate at the site to 416 billion cubic feet following a detailed mapping exercise.
Europa shares were up 6.5% to 8.52 pence Thursday.
