(Alliance News) - Europa Metals Ltd on Monday said the Johannesburg Stock Exchange has declared a trading halt in its shares after share transactions late last week.
Europa Metals said the JSE had called for the halt "to assess the impact on the market of potential settlement issues arising from certain transactions in the company's shares" on Thursday and Friday of last week.
According to Europa Metals, the trading halt will lift once the stock exchange "has identified the parties that may be impacted by these settlement issues and those parties have been advised accordingly".
Europa Metals' shares on AIM in London were up 9.9% on Monday at 5.50 pence.
