LONDON (Alliance News) - eServGlobal Ltd on Monday named Paolo Gagliardi, its chief delivery officer, as the successor to Stephen Blundell, who is quitting as chief operating officer.
In a statement, the mobile payments company said that Blundell will remain on the board as a non-executive director.
Gagliardi, a former regional director of technology for Vodafone, has a "strong track record" of delivering revenue growth and cost savings, according to eServGlobal.
"On behalf of the board and the employees at eServGlobal, I would like to thank Stephen for his significant contribution over the last six years," Executive Chairman John Conoley said in a statement.
"I look forward to continuing to work with Stephen as a fellow board member, but am also very pleased to announce that Paolo Gagliardi will lead the operational functions of eServGlobal in his new role as COO. Paolo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry," Conoley added.
eServGlobal shares were down 1.9% at 15.20 pence on Monday morning.
