LONDON (Alliance News) - Emerging markets-focused mobile financial services provider eServGlobal Ltd on Wednesday said it has launched its smartphone application.
The company said the app has already been sold to five existing customers, including projects in Armenia and Somalia, and is available for both the iOS and Android platform.
"Mobile money in emerging markets is a rapidly evolving space and service providers need solutions which anticipate their subscribers needs and enable them to propose industry leading features. With the rapid spread of low-cost smartphone through emerging markets, service providers need to look to features such as apps to ensure the success of their mobile money offering," said Chief Operating Officer Stephen Blundell.
Shares in eServGlobal were untraded Wednesday morning, having last traded at 17.00 pence.
