LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile financial services provider eServGlobal Ltd Tuesday that its joint venture with MasterCard and BICS, HomeSend, has inked a deal with Swedish money transfer organisation TransferGalaxy to allow money transfers to mobile wallets in 14 countries.
Separately, eServGlobal also provided updates on the joint venture's key performance indicators in August. It said its focus on deploying remittance "corridors" during 2015 has produced "strong results", with 2,221 live payment corridors now connecting over 200 sending countries and 35 receiving countries as at the end of August, up 41% since the end of June.
The number of transactions processed in August was more than tripled compared to the same month in the previous year, it said.
Shares in eServGlobal were down 11% at 11.10 pence Tuesday afternoon.
