LONDON (Alliance News) - Escher Group Holdings PLC said Tuesday that has won a new contract with Irish coffee chain Insomnia Coffee Company to supply its mobile wallet service at the retailer's 81 locations across the country as a fully managed service.
The digital point of service solutions company said the contract - which was awarded in July - went live in stores last week and "underpins Escher's growing success in diversifying into mobile commerce solutions."
Escher said the contract provides Insomnia Coffee with interactive loyalty, coupons, mobile payments and iBeacon technologies to enhance customer engagement across the chain's growing retail network. The wallet also supports both NFC and QR code based transactions.
No financial terms of the contract were disclosed.
The company provides its mobile wallet solutions to more than 60 high street retailers in the UK Ireland, including Finnbees Coffee House, Graham O'Sullivan, Green and Baker, and Just Falafel.
Escher Group shares were trading 4.71% at 311.50 pence per share shortly after the market open Tuesday, one of the biggest gainers on AIM.
