(Alliance News) - Erris Resources PLC has made changes to its leadership structure, it said on Monday, so it can "best maximise" its resources.
Chair Jeremy Martin will become a non-executive director, while Chief Executive Anton du Plessis is moving to non-executive chair.
David Hall, who has been acting as a consultant to the company since 2017, will become Erris's new chief executive, though in a non-board capacity.
Martin commented: "This restructuring of our board and management team will better focus our personnel into their relevant areas of expertise as we move forward with our portfolio of prospective exploration projects, evaluate new advanced opportunities and manage our financial resources in the most cost-effective manner."
Shares were 6.8% lower on Monday afternoon in London at 4.10 pence each.
Erris owns a number of assets across the UK and Scandinavia. It owns the Abbeytown lead-silver project in Ireland, gold targets in Sweden, Norway, and Scotland.
