Ergomed Appoints Jim Esinhart As Non-Executive Director

10th Jul 2019 12:10

(Alliance News) - Pharmaceutical services provider Ergomed PLC said on Wednesday that it appointed Jim Esinhart as a non-executive director.

Esinhart, who was formerly chief executive of Chiltern International Ltd, a clinical research company, will join as a non-executive once due diligence is completed. Esinhart became Chiltern's chief executive in 2012 after joining the company six years earlier.

He also co-found clinical trial outsourcing company PharmaResearch Corp and oversaw its acquisition by Inveresk Research.

Last month, Ergomed hired Richard Barfield, also a former senior member of Chiltern, as its chief finance officer.

Executive chair Miroslav Reljanovic said: "Jim is recognised as a true pioneer of the global contract research organisation industry. Working with our new CFO, Richard Barfield, he built Chiltern into a leading mid-market global contract research organisation and delivered significant shareholder value through its acquisition by Covance.

"Jim's insight, experience and support will be invaluable as we deliver on Ergomed's growth strategy across all of our business segments."

Shares in Ergomed fell 0.4% at 273.00 pence in London on Wednesday.
