(Alliance News) - Media platform Entertainment AI PLC on Tuesday reported full-year progress from both its motoring-focused Youtube channel and its Tagasauris artificial intelligence subsidiary which recently partnered with a Japanese television network for Rugby World Cup coverage.
In GT Channel Inc, aimed at car enthusiasts, net revenue climbed 59% in 2019 to USD10.3 million from USD6.5 million.
Video views were 45% higher at 12.3 billion from 8.5 billion, Entertainment AI said.
The company, formerly known as Blockchain Worldwide, also reported progress at Tagasauris, fresh from partnering with Japanese channel JSports during the Rugby World Cup between late September and early November.
The unit's technology was used to create quick "micro-moments", short highlights during match coverage.
Entertainment AI also added that it will change its accounting date to December 31, "in order to align itself with the financial years of its wholly-owned subsidiary trading companies".
Shares in the company were 7.6% higher at 42.50 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
