EnQuest Says Laurie Fitch To Step Down As Executive Director

10th Dec 2020 11:26

(Alliance News) - EnQuest PLC on Thursday announced Laurie Fitch will step down as non-executive director on January 8, 2021, which is when her service agreement expires.

Chair Martin Houston said: "I would like to thank Laurie most sincerely on behalf of the board for her valuable contribution during her time with EnQuest. In particular, her work with the Employee Forum and on the broad ESG agenda across the company has been extremely helpful."

The UK-based oil and gas production company that operates in UK North Sea and Malaysia appointed Farina Khan as non-executive director in October. Khan was chief financial officer of several large subsidiaries of Malaysian oil company Petronas Bhd, including Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd, the largest listed entity of Petronas, leaving in 2015.

Shares in EnQuest were up 1.5% at 12.04 pence in London on Thursday.
